We treat every one of our rabbits as family pets; they are all treated with as much love and attention as our four Labradors Tara, Tia, Myrtle & Dora and our cat Benny. We breed our giant rabbits to the breed standards of the British Rabbit Council, we do not over-feed them in order gain celebrity status through the media, who are only interested in a storey and have no regards to the rabbit’s welfare. The giant rabbits we have witnessed in the media are in our opinion grossly overweight for the breed standard. We often bring rabbits into the house and let them explore and play, they also have a run for exercise that they use daily. We show our rabbits at local BRC shows and have been successful with them. We do sell some of the Giant rabbits we breed; this helps to keep the costs of running the rabbitary neutral. However we will only sell our giant rabbits to people who are prepared to make the effort to come and collect them from us. This demonstrates to us that the people will look after the rabbit, as well as giving us the opportunity to meet our pet’s new owner. We do not provide a shipping service for our rabbits for the reasons stated above.
